Check to attempt to extract J2735 MessageFrames and WSAs. Recognizes all "UPER Form" J2735 message IDs, 0x12-0x32, from the 2024 specification, as well as WSA messages from IEEE 1609.3. Uncheck to dump the raw PCAP frames without trying to extract the message frames or WSAs.

Requires an IEEE 1609.2 wrapper containing an unsecured data tag (0x0380) and OER length determinant to recognize MessageFrames. Check to avoid "false positive" message frames being found. Uncheck to enable finding message frames without a 1609.2 wrapper such as may happen if raw message frames are sent over UDP.

Note: This tool can decode pcap format files only. It can't yet decode pcap-ng files. To convert pcapng to pcap, load the file in wireshark and save as pcap, or use "editcap" on the command line, e.g. "editcap -F pcap input.pcapng output.pcap", before loading into this tool.
